Grapevine
Hi Jayne, thanks for asking. The village was full of guests all visiting the ten open gardens. Ours is at the top of a hill, so it was a climb for all. Everyone loved our place, and most commented on how peaceful they felt in it...I wont open the garden again, I felt uncomfortable initially, but then let it go, and let the happening happen!! Took photos, but need to download from camera.
Very much enjoying those links you sent me, my friend. Much food for thought. I am somewhat gorging myself at the moment :0)
See you are involved in prison ministry. I visited inmates in two prisons here for about ten years ( I did it fortnightly ), Since was only 'lay' I had no status other than a visitor, and had to see people in the crowded room with high decibels of noise, but managed all the same to connect with the deepest places.
Ah thanks Jayne. My kids and grandchildren came to visit yesterday, and we had a garden party, so I made their favourite strawberry and lemon cheesecake, and Bec my youngest daughter took the 'snap' with her phone.
The description of your day sounds wonderful. Perhaps some time, if it is not to much trouble, you could entertain a discussion of jail ministry? Thanks for being you.
Jayne, Barbara's newsletters come through her site, http://www.barbaramarxhubbard.com/content/
I was with her when she anounced her candidacy for the Vice Presidency ( Kansas, '84), and have loosely kept up since. maybe I can break away for the conference, we'll see.
Your Conference is promoted in Barbara's newsletter. What a fine gathering, fuel for the journey, community of concern at it's best. If CDs of keynotes are produced I'd be interested. I'm fired up and I can't even attend!
